On Tuesday July 27, Prof Edoardo Marcucci, TRElab’s director, gave a lecture “The importance of choice modelling to understand the demand for urban freight transport and Planning with stakeholders”.
The lecture was part of the PhD Program in Transportation offered by the Federal University of Ceará, the Federal University of Minas Gerais, and the Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil.
The presentation focused on the importance of discrete choice models for freight policies, the importance of sustainability for urban freight transport and the influence of freight demand on sustainable urban freight transport.
We hope this first webinar will be the beginning of a fruitful collaboration between all the institutions .
