On March, 15 the Transport Research Laboratory (TRElab) of Roma Tre University, together with Panteia B.V., has presented a study for the Transport and Tourism (TRAN) Committee of the European Parliament: “Relaunching transport and tourism in the EU after COVID-19 “.
The presentation of the results focused on the following topics:
- Overview of the impacts of COVID-19 on transport and tourism.
- Review of EU and national policy actions adopted since the COVID-19 outbreak.
- Challenges and opportunities emerging from the crisis
- Policy recommendations to help transport and tourism recover
The presentation was followed by questions from the Members and a stimulating debate, focusing notably on the forthcoming Digital Green Certificate and the role of national recovery plans in repairing the damage caused by the pandemic and improving the resilience and sustainability of both sectors.

Il 15 Marzo 2021 il Laboratorio di Ricerca sui Trasporti (TRElab) dell’Università Roma Tre, insieme a Panteia B.V., ha presentato alla Commissione Trasporti e Turismo (TRAN) del Parlamento europeo un progetto dal titolo “Trasporto urbano sostenibile e intelligente”.
La presentazione dei risultati della ricerca è stata focalizzata sui seguenti temi:
- Panoramica generale degli impatti del COVID-19 sui trasporti e sul turismo
- Revisione delle azioni politiche dell’UE e delle politiche nazionali adottate dopo l’epidemia di COVID-19
- Sfide e opportunità emergenti dalla crisi
- Suggerimenti utili per agevolare e sostenere la ripresa dei trasporti e del turismo
La presentazione è stata seguita da un dibattito stimolante, focalizzato in particolare sul futuro Digital Green Certificate e sul ruolo dei national recovery plans nel riparare i danni causati dalla pandemia e migliorare la resilienza e la sostenibilità di entrambi i settori.
