At the Transport Research Arena 2022 (TRA), Giacomo Lozzi, TRElab, presented the paper City Logistics landscape in the era of on-demand economy: challenges, trends and influencing factors, carried out with Molde University College, as part of the work of the LEAD project.
TRA took place from 14-17 November 2022, at the Lisbon Congress Center (CLL). TRA is the largest European research and technology conference on transport and mobility. Themed “Moving together – reimagining mobility worldwide”, TRA2022 brought together experts from around the world to discuss the newest innovations and the future of mobility and transport, building also on the Portuguese historical legacy and links to overseas transport professionals. Through the development of innovative solutions, TRA Lisbon 2022 aims for more efficient, safer, carbon-free, inclusive, and sustainable transport in all its modes.
The paper City Logistics landscape in the era of on-demand economy: challenges, trends and influencing factors presents the results of a survey carried out among 125 qualified experts, to identify the factors that most influence urban freight transport and on-demand deliveries.
Starting from this, the LEAD project analyses business value and feasibility of future value case scenarios from a multi-stakeholder approach in a Living Lab context.
The paper will be published soon in the Conference Proceedings. Check the poster here to know more.
